Thank you!!! Mainly it's a salary increase. Because I'm staffed right now it doesn't change my daily responsibilities too much - it's just a pat on the back. And I suppose it qualifies me for different roles when/if I leave the one I'm at.
But, where I work if you don't get promoted you get shown the door, so it's a nice thing. :)
